Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Puzzle Stats mobile application (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The App

Puzzle Stats is a puzzle catalog and solve timer for iOS. Core features work offline without an account. Your puzzle data is stored on your device unless you enable optional iCloud Sync.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the App.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of puzzles, solve data, photos, and videos you create in the App. You are responsible for backing up your data. We do not access your on-device content except as needed to provide App features (e.g., optional iCloud Sync through Apple’s CloudKit).

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

Puzzle Stats offers optional premium subscriptions and purchases processed through Apple’s App Store via StoreKit. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Managing subscriptions: Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Puzzle Stats.
• Refunds: All purchases and refunds are handled by Apple per their policies. Contact Apple Support for refund requests.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices with notice as required by Apple. Changes apply to subsequent billing periods.

5. Free Features

Catalog, timing, markers, statistics, and optional iCloud Sync are available without a subscription. Premium features, when introduced, will be described in the App before purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to access systems you are not authorized to use, or use the App in violation of applicable law.

7. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, accuracy of barcode lookup results, or that the App will meet your specific needs. Use the timer and statistics at your own discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Puzzle Stats and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Apple

These Terms are between you and Puzzle Stats, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App. Apple is not responsible for product claims, intellectual property claims, or third-party claims related to the App.
