• Do I need an account?

  No. Everything stays on your device. Optional iCloud Sync backs up to your own Apple devices.

• Does it work offline?

  Yes — catalog, timer, markers, ratings, and stats all work without internet. You only need a connection for barcode lookups (when not in our catalog) and App Store purchases.

• How do I sync across devices?

  Settings → iCloud Sync → enable. Same Apple ID on both devices. Restart the app after toggling. Photos and videos stay local for now.

• What is date-only tracking?

  Turn off the stopwatch when starting a solve. It logs start and finish dates instead of elapsed time. Those solves don't count toward speed records.

• How do markers work?

  Tap "Add Marker" mid-solve — no typing. After finishing, rename them, add notes, or apply templates like "Border Complete."

• What is Quick Timer?

  Start timing without picking a puzzle first. The solve shows up on Home under "Solves Needing Attention" until you assign it.

• How do I cancel a subscription?

  iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Puzzle Stats. Refunds are handled by Apple, not us.

• How do I delete my data?

  Delete items in the app, or uninstall to remove everything local. Manage iCloud data through your Apple ID if sync was on.

• How do challenge links work?

  After a speed-timed solve, share a challenge link from the app. It opens at puzzlestats.app/challenge with the puzzle, time, and mode baked in. Tap Open in Puzzle Stats to accept the challenge in the app.

• How do shared time links work?

  You can also share a solve time without challenging someone. Those links open at puzzlestats.app/share. In the app, choose to save it as a friend’s solve or as a team effort you were part of.

• Android?

  iOS only for now. Android is planned.
